ATMS 301 (Fall 2024): Atmospheric Thermodynamics

- Graded homework and exams; provided feedback to help students improve problem-solving skills.
- Held office hours twice per week.
- Led problem-solving sessions (习题课) to walk through key derivations and common thermodynamics applications.
- Developed small code scripts for homework to support calculations/visualization and improve workflow and consistency.
Mentoring
Graduate–Graduate Mentorship Program (2023–2024)
- Served as a graduate mentor to support incoming students during their first year.
- Guided mentees through the transition into graduate school, including navigating program requirements, group expectations, and common first-year “twists and turns.”
- Shared experiences, advice, and strategies to succeed as a first-year graduate student, fostering a supportive peer-mentoring environment.
Graduate–Undergraduate Mentorship Program (2022–2023)
- Mentored three undergraduate students (Kyuhaeng Lee, Erika Pruitt, Alyssa Shih) who interested in research and graduate school.
- Provided guidance on identifying research opportunities, building foundational technical/research skills, and preparing application materials for graduate programs.
- Supported mentees in setting short-term development goals and exploring academic and research career pathways.
